Land & Water have recently invested in a new track propelled amphibious weed cutting machine that is available for hire throughout the UK.
This machine is able to traverse all types of terrain and is easily moved from site to site on a trailer behind a standard 4 by 4 vehicle. The tracked machine makes access into the water faster and safer than launching a traditional boat. It also allows the machine to climb from the water to deposit cut weed away from the banks.
Traditional weed cutting machinery often causes levels of dissolved oxygen to fall causing problems for fish and other aquatic creatures. The new Tracked Weed cutter, due to its very action in the water, has been proved to increase levels of dissolved oxygen by up to 100%.
