The Marina

I am delighted to announce that the marina has just passed its British Waterways ‘stilling test’ and will open for business on schedule.

There will be a small opening ceremony performed by David Drew MP from Perseverance [the Cotswold Canal Trusts boat] on Friday the 25th of April at midday.

A limited number of boats are welcome to follow Perseverance into the marina, and should form up in the pool on the Gloucester & Sharpness canal adjacent to R.W.Davis’ boat yard at about 11:30, so if you are coming please let us know.

The Marina Managers are Bob Ford and Cheryl James. They will be happy to welcome you into the marina and try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They can be contacted on their mobile Tel 07967 461059 or the office number from the 26th April.

We will be able to offer you the mooring with service bollard; electricity cards; diesel fuel; pump out; coal and gas.  The marina will be fully functioning with temporary WC’s and showers, whilst the new shower block is scheduled for June and the office block for August. There will also be a continuing landscaping program through the summer and autumn, as the season permits.

As a health and safety precaution please be careful of any construction or maintenance traffic that there may be on site.

On behalf of Geomac I would like to welcome you to Saul Junction Marina and hope that your stay with us is enjoyable.
