A day in the life of our Commercial Manager Aaron

The construction and civil engineering industries have formed the backbone of the UK’s economy during the Coronavirus pandemic. The sectors are experiencing a huge period of growth which is incredibly exciting.

Land & Water is currently in a healthy position with a strong order book in place for 2022 which includes innovative and varied projects such as a multi-million-pound infrastructure contract with PD Ports to upgrade Teesport Ro-Ro Number Two in Newcastle upon Tyne, to a major lake restoration project in Oxford and minor weir refurbishments under framework contracts for the Environment Agency.

Our team has continued to grow as we expand across the country and so we wanted to shine a spotlight on some of our amazing employees and the work which they are carrying out.

Our Commercial Manager Aaron joined Land & Water in October 2018 and is currently overseeing and managing the commercial performance of all live projects in the Southern region to ensure project compliance with contracts and procedures. This includes contract administration, client management, monitoring of forecasts and risk and much more.

Recently Aaron has completed a scheme to demolish and reconstruct a new bridge for London Borough of Merton Council to which he has been able to see the project progress from the demolition phase to its completion. The variety of tasks and sites that Land & Water works on is something that appeals to Aaron as it means no day is ever the same.

When we asked why he chose a role with Land & Water, he said:
